Mazembe Move Closer to Spot in Champions League Semifinals Aug 19th 2012, 07:00 DR Congo’s TP Mazembe moved closer to clinching a spot in the semifinals of the CAF Champions League on Sunday after they beat Egypt’s Zamalek 2-1 on Sunday in Cairo. Hichani Himonde and Bwana Ali Samata scored in the first half with headers on two corners to dash any hopes of advancing for Egypt’s Zamalek.
